January 2014 Update!
As you might have noticed on other pages on our website, we are taking a break from breeding for a couple years as of January 2014. During this time I'm referring people to House of Steward Ragdolls in Clay Center, KS, Temple Dolls in Colorado, and Treasure Mountain in Colorado for kittens. We will also be moving to facebook as our main way of providing Little Apple Ragdoll updates. We might occasionally post a blog, but if you want more frequent updates from us please like us on facebook. Thanks!

It's love...
Splendour loves her water fountain! We've had it for a few months now and it always makes me smile how she runs and lays down next to it when I add water or clean it. She even hugs it - which she was doing right before I snapped this picture. I've been trying to capture the hug for weeks now and I'm giving up. I know as soon as I do, she will let me get the picture...ha! Anyway, we have tried numerous fountains over the years and like these ceramic ones we found on etsy the best. They clean more easily and stay clean longer than the plastic and metal ones we have tried - and they are much prettier! We have one in each household and after months of use, we are convinced this is the only way to go if you want to add a water fountain to your home. Check out their page to see what they have available now. Each fountain is unique and they are constantly posting new ones.

Guess what season it is!
Has anyone else noticed? Shedding season has started! It's time to grab your brush and your hairball gel or treat. Our favorite brush is the furminator...look at all the hair we removed in a few minutes of brushing one cat! Think of all that hair being ingested and you will know why we need to be diligent in brushing and giving hairball treat this time of year. If you start to notice hacking, coughing, or a looser stool than normal, you're cat probably has a hairball. Make sure to give them the hairball treats or gel as recommended to help them pass the hair. Don't worry...this season isn't a long one!
