We have finally seen our new kittens! They are, of course, beautiful. It looks like we have two girls and two boys. We can already tell that the boys will be blue and the girls will be blue torties. It will take a little while for us to know the patterns, but we will let you know as soon as we can tell. Nala loves being a mother - and is doing a very good job of it. She is protective of her kittens (like all new moms) - and wasn't too sure about me even taking pictures of them (she was giving me the evil eye in this picture), but later when she realized the flash wasn't hurting anybody she calmed down and started purring! I liked this picture of the kittens best, though - because you can see the faces of two of them. After this picture everyone started eating so you can only see their back side. And they are just so cute - I wanted you to be able to see them!

Christmas kittens
Nala had her kittens this morning! We are away from home for the holidays - so my mom called us early this morning to tell us that we have 4 big kittens! I will have more to tell when I get home and see them for the first time. Nala is apparently very happy! Probably she is very happy to have them out of her stomach (she was huge). I can't wait to see them later this week.

Aww
Aren't they cute! Emma's kittens keep growing and changing - I'm excited to see that we are going to have several that will look like their father, Crispin! He is such a beautiful cat. The kittens are starting to walk around and before long they will probably be running. It's fun to start to learn each of their personalities - as we start to get to know them better we will let you know more about these beautiful kittens.

Bailey
To continue on with our breeder posts I thought I would introduce our new girl. We have not yet had time to even put her on our list of breeders. Bailey is very sweet and loves attention. In fact, often when I'm on the computer typing she will come and find me - and she will rub her face up against my fingers begging me to stop to hold her and pet her. It's funny! She can also be found napping in some of the funniest positions - as this picture attests. She loves to play and often takes off in a sprint around the room for no reason! We love her - and can't wait to get some pictures of her up on our breeder page, hopefully we will have some up soon.

M&Ma
Yep, that's our Emma's nickname - If you say Emma Nemma really fast it just kind of sounds like that favorite of all candies...at least my husband's favorite of all candies. Anyway, she is a real joy to have around - she's sweet, cuddly, and loves to sleep with us. We took a picture of her in her favorite spot - the bathroom sink! She meets me there at various times of the day - it's her favorite place to get a drink, and yes I indulge her! It's so funny for me to see a cat drinking running water. The more we get to know our M&M the more we love her! She is very pregnant right now, and we can't wait to meet her little kittens sometime soon. Very soon by the looks of things! We will definitely let everyone know when those little ones arrive.

They sure grow up fast!
Cheya's kittens are approaching 4 weeks old and they are adorable! We wanted to let everyone know what we have - on the left is our seal torbie colorpoint girl and on the right is our seal lynx mitted boy. We will be updating our kitten page later tonight with more pictures and information, but I couldn't wait to get this photo out!
